How Violet looks on dark brown eyes
The close-up shows a plum-lilac ring with a grey undertone, nothing like a bright grape purple. Soft daylight and shade bring the colour out best, and you may catch it in a mirror before anyone else does. Under strong yellow bulbs it deepens toward plum and starts to blend with the iris.
